the stroke rate is reduced, the power tool will not run at full
stroke rate again until the permitted battery temperature has
been reached. If it automatically shuts down, switch the pow-
er tool off, allow the battery to cool down, then switch the
power tool back on.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
 Before any work on the machine itself (e. g. mainte-
nance, tool change, etc.) as well as during transport
and storage, remove the battery from the power tool.
There is danger of injury when unintentionally actuating
the On/Off switch.
 For safe and proper working, always keep the machine
and ventilation slots clean.
Clean and lubricate the punch 10 and die 11 every 3 operat-
ing hours.
Change the punch and die in good time when worn. Only
sharp tools produce a good cutting quality and make the ma-
chine last longer.
The punch 10 and the die 11 may not be reground.
Changing the Die
Unscrew the knurled screw 13 of the die holder 9. Take out
the die 11.
Il necessary, clean the die holder 9.
Put a new, well greased die 11 into the die holder. Pay atten-
tion to the alignment of the flat side.
Screw the knurled screw 13 with attached rubber ring 12
back on. Use a hex key to tighten the screw against the resist-
ance of the rubber ring (3–4 Nm).
Changing the Punch
Loosen the screw 4 and pull the die holder und 9 completely
out of the housing.
Slide the punch 10 sideways out of the mounting and pull it
out in a downward motion.
Put a new, well greased punch 10 in the groove of the mount-
ing and centre it.
Push the die holder 9 with caution over the punch 10 back in-
to the housing. Turn the die holder into one of the three possi-
ble positions (see "Changing the Cutting Direction", page 6).
Tighten the screw 4.
