It is common to feature some type of receiver in this arrangement, typically a slotted plate receiver is bolted to or welded to the wall or stanchion face, in this instance add the depth of the receiver to the clear gap dimension (y) to allow for sufficient clearance.

    610mm deep in a 460mm cube of concrete as shown in Fig 7 The AG-fit range of gates and barriers are designed to hang at 1525mm as standard (with NO optional rise), post length must be 2135mm with equipment flush with the top of the post.

    See Fig 10 The hanging brackets are not only used to hang the AG-fit range of gates and barriers but can also be compatible with other IAE ranges such as the YokeMaster panels and the VisorDrink® troughs.

Timber Board Brackets TOOLS REQUIRED: Ø19mm Open end spanner or adjustable spanner Timber Board Bracket When timber boards are required to hold back bedding use these bolt on brackets to fix 225mm wide x 75mm thick timber flush to post edge as shown in Fig 12. Note: Flat board plate on scrape side and formed board plate on bedded side.

    5mm Allen key 4.1.1. Fit brackets to post before hanging gates or barriers, see Fig 15 detailing typical set-up for hanging AG-fit primary element onto post (NO RISE). First fasten the top bracket using Fig 15a for setting up measurement.

    4.7. Assembly Of Back-to-Back Primary The elevation below illustrates a complete barrier made up of 3 separate sections comprising of; a Panel Insert, a Back-to-Back Primary and a Squeeze Gap Insert. Several different permutations can be created by combining two inserts and one Back-to-Back Primary, not all can be covered here but the method for assembly is always the same.

    5. Universal Drinkers 5.1. Assembly Of Drinker Inserts The four types of drinker inserts can be joined together to create a variety of combinations to give users flexibility for mounting trough to post, see Fig 36, 37 and 38 below for details of drinker insert options.

    5.2. Bolting Options Option 1 - Wall Mounted Single sided drinkers feature X2 fixing holes at the rear of the service box for bolting to wall (Fittings not supplied). See Fig 39 Fig 39 Option 2 - Base Mounted Both single and double sided drinkers feature a base plate with X4 fixing holes to fasten straight to a plinth or to special panel apertures (Fittings not supplied).

    5.3. Water Supply Install TOOLS REQUIRED: Ø10mm Ring spanner 5.3.1. Universal drinkers come supplied with the service box lid bolted shut, undo the lid to access the loose components bagged up inside. See Fig 43 Fig 43 5.3.2. Fit poly float to ball valve supplied and offer up to 27 diameter hole in the side of the drinker which will be closest to your water supply.

    6.2. Water Supply Install TOOLS REQUIRED: Ø10mm Ring spanner 6.2.1. VisorDrink trough is supplied with the visor already assembled and bolted shut. Remove and discard the bolt highlighted in Fig 51 to access the loose components bagged up inside. Fig 51 6.2.2.
