2.3 General safety instructions

Danger of electrocution!
If electrical or electronic appliances come into contact with water, this can cause serious injury or
even death.
Do not use or keep electrical appliances, for example hair dryer, radio, telephone, close to the
bathtub.

Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children without adult supervision.
Warning!
Danger when used by children!
There is a danger of injury or drowning when the bathtub is used by children.
Ensure that children (3-8 years of age) are supervised at all times when using the bathtub to
prevent the risk of drowning and injury. The bathtub must not be used by very young children
(0-3 years of age).
Warning!
Danger due to heat!
High water temperatures can lead to injuries caused by burns.
To prevent burns and other injuries, make sure the water temperature does not exceed
104°F/40°C.
Warning!
Danger due to careless use!
Careless use of the bathtub can lead to injury or even drowning.
All persons must exercise caution when getting in and out of the bathtub in order to avoid

injury or drowning.
Slow-moving/weak, elderly persons or persons with physical disabilities should take extra care

when using the bathtub and must be extra careful when getting in and out and, if necessary,
should not use the bathtub without appropriate supervision and assistance.

Do not clean or bathe pets in the bathtub.
