9. IMPLEMENTATION, PROGRAMMING AND START UP

Preliminary Operations
Before programming the DECT service, back up the customer configuration
data.
Make sure the following information is available:
· PARI number
· map and information from the site deployment survey
1. PARI number
For recent systems (7598), the PARI number can be found on the PBX approval
label.
For systems updating to software release 7598:
obtained by faxing the completed form below:

Definition: a PARI is a unique 32 bit sequence exclusive to each site. On installation, this
sequence is used to manage terminal access rights through the radio base stations.

A PARI number label is affixed to all PBX platforms delivered since early May with software
release MC 7598.
♦
To install of DECT radio base stations in a system upgrading to MC7598, a PARI number must be
allocated. Send this form, to the Repair Center in Rennes (France) to obtain your PARI number.
