6. The mirror wiring loom has two power wires that will need to be connected.
a) Connect the Red power wire to an accessories wire that is energized when the
key turned to the accessories position. (When the radio is on).
b) Connect the black ground wire to an existing bolt or factory ground using a
suitable O-ring terminal.
7. Connect the camera's RCA video lead to the RCA plug on the mirrors wiring
loom.
TESTING THE REVERSE CAMERA FUNCTION
1. Engage the park brake and turn the ignition key to the ON position.
DO NOT
start
the vehicle.
2. Select reverse gear with the gearshift.
The monitor will sense the video signal from the camera and automatically switch
on. When switched on, the screen will display an image looking behind the r ear of
the vehicle.
