UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS Remove the staples or cut along the bottom of the carton. Lift the carton off the pallet. Check for any damage incurred in shipping. If the scale has been damaged, place a claim with the carrier. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to file all claims for any damages or loss incurred during transit. -

NEVER leave a patient unattended while they are on the scale platform. Failure to maintain control of the patient at all times can result in severe injury to you and/or the patient. -

Before beginning the patient height measurement, make sure the spoon is rotated to the horizontal position, and raised well above the patient's apparent height. 2. While holding the spoon horizontal and above the patient's head, assist the patient on the scale platform. -
