Operation Operation The Puretec PureMix Inline Water Filter System is designed to run economically for many years, dependent on the initial installation and periodical maintenance. Flush systems for 10 minutes after any period of non-use more than 2 days. The PureMix Z6 Inline Water Filter System is designed to operate with mains water. The PureMix Z7 Inline Water Filter System is designed to operate with mains, rain, harsh and rural water.
Installation Requirements Installation Requirements 15mm (½”) cold water flexi-connector to tap. Water supply pressure: 200 - 520 kPa. Water supply temperature: 0° - 38 °C (protect from freezing). Alternative fittings may be required if being connected to anything other than 15 mm (½”) copper pipe.

Installation Procedure 7. Connect the braided hose onto stem adaptor, then connect to the cartridge head assembly inlet (please note the arrow on the head indicating the direction of the water flow). A hose extension kit has been provided if necessary, this can be used to extend the hose either side of the system.

Fitting the Cartridge Correctly Figure 2 - Fitting the Cartridge Correctly Ensuring the cartridge is in the correct lock position is critical prior to operating the system. Not being seated in the correct position can cause the locking tabs to shear and damage the head and/or water leakage.
Performance Data Cartridge Changeout 1. Shut off water supply and release the water pressure by opening up the tap. 2. Remove all packaging from the new cartridge, including any wraps or caps (if applicable). Replacement cartridge code for Z6 model: Puretec Z6-R. Replacement cartridge code for Z7 model: Puretec Z7-R.
