Rear panel

Cord holder

Use this to hold the cord of the included TASCAM PS-P520
AC adaptor to prevent it from becoming accidentally discon-
nected.
DC IN 5V connector

Connect the included TASCAM PS-P520 AC adaptor here.
STANDBY/ON switch

Set this switch to ON to turn the unit's power ON. Set it in
the other direction to turn the power OFF.
TO DEVICE connector
s
Use the included RS-232C connection cable to connect units
other than CD-9010CF and CD-9010 models. Before use, set
the RS-232C SEL switch to g.
CAUTION
Before disconnecting the connection cable, always turn OFF the
power of both this unit and the connected unit. Connecting this
cable with the power on could damage the unit.

Display

This unit's display shows the following information.
In audio CD mode
In data CD and CF/SD/USB modes

Use to select the active unit connector. Set the switch to g
to activate the TO DEVICE connector. Set the switch to t to
activate the TO CD-9010 connector.
TO CD-9010 connector

Use to connect this unit with a CD-9010CF or CD-9010.
Before use, set the RS-232C SEL switch to t.
You will need to prepare a separate connection cable.
CAUTION
Before disconnecting the connection cable, always turn OFF
the power for both this unit and the connected CD-9010CF or
CD-9010. Connecting this cable with the power on could damage
the unit.
Track (take) number

This shows the track (take) number.
Track (take) time

This shows the time of the current track (take).
Depending on the media being played back, the content of
this will differ. When using an HS-2, HS-2000 or HS-4000, this
will only appear in CF/SD/USB mode.

USB memory
Press the REMAIN button to switch between elapsed time
and remaining time. The REMAIN indicator lights when the
remaining time is shown.
