    Park Air T6MC Controller The Park Air T6MC controller operates from a low voltage dc input supply, or a standard mains ac input supply. When using a mains supply, dangerous voltage is present on the rear panel ac connector and within the equipment.

    FACILITIES AC INPUT DISCONNECT FROM MAINS WHEN NOT IN USE Fig 3-1 T6MC Controller Rear Panel Power Switch WARNING Dangerous Voltage When the Power switch is set to the Standby position, dangerous voltage is still present in the controller's internal power supply circuitry. To ensure safe working during maintenance, the controller must be isolated from the ac and dc input supplies.

    Back to Disk Menu Checking the Installation Materials The Park Air part number for the T6MC controller is BT6MC and the Park Air part number for the T6MC rack mount controller is 70-T6MCRACK. The items listed in Table 4-2 are included under these part numbers.

    Between 220 Vac and 240 Vac the selector must be set to 220.  The T6MC controller is a class 1 equipment. The ac supply cable must have a green-and-yellow protective earthing conductor electrically connected to the protective earthing terminal of the equipment connector and the supply output connector.

    7-7. Power Supplies The T6MC controller operates from either an ac input supply between 110 and 120 Vac, or 220 and 240 Vac. Alternatively, the controller can be used with a dc input supply between 21.6 and 32 Vdc. When both ac and dc input supplies are connected, the controller continues to operate using the dc supply if the mains supply fails.

    Audio is therefore routed to the parallel connected controllers, but no PTT signal is sent. Use of the Intercom facility does not inhibit the External PTT signal.
