OFP 4336 / 5548 / 7972 – Weather Cover Safety Switch -
NOTE: Barbara Jean Outdoor Fireplaces with the following serial numbers or higher are equipped with a Weather
Cover Safety Switch:
OFP4336: OB36MVN – SN# 5813
This switch ensures that if the Weather Cover is installed, the fireplace cannot be accidentally turned on (i.e., with a
remote control).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Safety Switch Lever must be protruding from Access Cover for fireplace to operate.
IF FIREPLACE WILL NOT LIGHT: Ensure that Safety Switch Lever is not stuck under the Access Cover (See below).

Lever
Safety Switch Lever will be depressed by the
tab on the right side of the Weather Cover. This
will prevent the fireplace from accidental
ignition when the optional Weather Cover is
installed.
