Thread the loop end into the
metal ring.

Correctly Position Belt
Positioning Clip
Place child in the seat. Pull the
belt positioning clip straight up to
the top of the child's shoulders.
The top of the shoulder must be
even with the line in the positioning
clip as shown.
Adjust clip as needed.
NOTE:
Check height often as the
child grows.

To Adjust Clip Height
To Lengthen: Push free end of the

strap

into the plastic clip. Pull
on the opposite end of the strap
to remove slack as shown.

To Shorten: From the top of the
clip, make a loop in the strap. Pull
on the strap

on the free end of the strap

C-3 Backpack Use
Do not access the backpack while using it as a booster
seat.
Do not over stuff the backpack. This can allow the
booster seat not to sit properly on the vehicle seat
bench.

Always keep the zipper closed when used as a booster
seat to keep objects inside the backpack. During a
crash or sudden stop, objects may come out of the
backpack and injure other occupants in the vehicle.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in serious
injury or death.

To Lengthen: Lift up on the
locking tab and pull away from
backpack to desired length.

Pull down on the free end of
the backpack strap to shorten.
