4.3 - Programming procedure in PROFESSIONAL
In PROFESSIONAL mode it is possible to manage all functions directly from
MOMB using 1 or 2 "MASTER" cards. Moreover, it is possible to program and
delete the entire BM memory and use other specific functions.
In PROFESSIONAL mode it is possible to manage all functions directly from
MOMB using 1 or 2 "MASTER" cards. Moreover, it is possible to program and
delete the entire BM memory and use other specific functions. However, if used
on other readers, it can be re-used as "MASTER" card or to activate commands.
Moreover, the MASTER cards can be used to activate the automation "block"
and "release" commands; see paragraph 4.3.6. ATTENTION! – Do not loose
the "MASTER" card.
In the PROFESSIONAL mode, it is necessary to reserve 1 or 2 new cards for
the "MASTER" function.
A MOMB reader can memorise 2 "MASTER" cards:
– MASTER 1 = manages the cards that will activate command n° 1 in STATIC
1 mode
– MASTER 2 = manages the cards that will activate command n° 2 STATIC 2
mode
These "MASTER" cards are used to create two completely separate groups of
cards, in a way that the cards of each unit can activate only one of the two pos-
sible commands (see paragraph 4.3.1 "Creation of the "MASTER" cards).
IMPORTANT! –If the creation of two groups is not necessary, it is possible
to program the same card both as MASTER 1 and as MASTER 2. In this
case the DYNAMIC mode can be used to activate the commands as well
as STATIC 1 and STATIC 2 modes.
4.3.1 - CREATION OF THE "MASTER" CARDS
Create 2 "MASTER" cards
This procedure is used to create 2 MASTER cards that can manage two differ-
ent groups of cards. These cards can only be used for operations belonging to
their own group.
Recommendation: the 2 Master cards can manage groups of cards in "STAT-
IC 1" mode (command n°1) and "STATIC 2" mode (command n°2); see para-
graph 4.3.2.
• Procedure for creation of MASTER card 1
This procedure can only be performed if the MOMB memory is empty:
01. Place and hold a new card in front of the reader for at least 5 seconds.
4 – English
After the 5 seconds the reader will emit 3 close acoustic sounds and 1 indi-
vidual tone
02. When the acoustic sounds are no longer emitted, remove the card from
the reader
• Procedure for creation of MASTER card 2
This procedure can only be performed if the MASTER card 1 has already been
programmed:
01. Place and hold a new card in front of the reader for at least 5 seconds.
After the 5 seconds the reader will emit 3 close acoustic sounds and 1 indi-
vidual tone
02. When the acoustic sounds are no longer emitted, remove the card from
the reader
Create a unique "MASTER" card
This procedure is used to create a unique MASTER card that can manage cards
in "STATIC 1" and "STATIC 2" modes and also in "DYNAMIC" mode (command
n°1 and command n°2); see paragraph 4.3.2.
01. Place and hold a new card in front of the reader for at least 5 seconds.
After the 5 seconds the reader will emit 3 close acoustic sounds and 1 indi-
vidual tone
02. When the acoustic sounds are no longer emitted, remove the card from
the reader
03. Place and hold the card in front of the reader for at least 5 seconds again.
After the 5 seconds the reader will emit 3 close acoustic sounds and 1 indi-
vidual tone
04. When the acoustic sounds are no longer emitted, remove the card from
the reader
4.3.2 - PROGRAMMING THE CARDS
Recommendation – At the end of programming it is necessary to check cor-
rect functioning of the MOMB; see chapter 5 - Inspection.
Program valid cards with 2 "MASTER" cards in STATIC 1 mode
(command n°1) or STATIC 2 mode (command n°2)
The programming g procedures can only be performed after having created the
"MASTER" card:
