Dealer's Lock
1. Setting
To set the unit to Dealer's Lock, hold down the [STOP] key on
the main unit in the standby mode, and press the [OPEN/
CLOSE] key for 2 seconds.
2. Canceling
To cancel Dealer's Lock, hold down the [STOP] key on the
main unit, and press the [OPEN/CLOSE] key for 2 seconds.

Memory back up function

Please note that the following items will be deleted from the
unit's memory if the power cord is disconnected from the AC
outlet.
• Input selector settings
• Volume level
• Sound control (preset equalizer, bass enhancement)
• Tuner setting

Caution for transport or movement

Before transporting or moving the system, prepare it as de-
scribed below.
(1) Disconnect the external components including the USB
device, and also take out the disc.
(2) Select "CD" as a source, press the [ /II] key, and wait to
confirm "NO DISC" is displayed.
(3) Wait a while, and then turn the system OFF.
(4) If any other external component is connected, make sure
that it is turned OFF before disconnecting the connection
cable.

Resetting the Microcomputer

The microcomputer may malfunction (unit cannot be operated,
or shows an erroneous display) if the power cord is unplugged
while the power is ON, or due to some other external factor. If
this happens, execute the following procedure to reset the mi-
crocomputer and return the unit to its normal operating condi-
tion.
When the power is off (standby mode), press the [SOUND]
key on the main unit until "FACTORY RESET " appears.
Unplug the AC cord and plug it back in if "RESET FIN-
ISHED" appears.
• Please note that resetting the microcomputer will clear the
contents of the memory and return the unit to the state it was
in when it left the factory.
