What to do, when...

Certain problems are due to the lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved with the help of the instructions
given here, without calling out an engineer.
...a flashing fault code appears
The dishwasher will not start or stops during operation. All push buttons are inoperative except for the On/Off push button All
indicator lights are off except for the On/Off indicator light. The present alarm is indicated by a combination of one or more
programme push button indicator lights, as described in the following chart, that are flashing.
Open the door and press the On/Off push button to switch the dishwasher off and carry out the following suggested corrective
actions.
Fault code / malfunction
"Rinse and Hold" programme
indicator light is flashing.
The machine does not fill with
water.
"Quick wash 55°" programme
indicator light is flashing.
The dishwasher will not drain.
"Intensive 70°" programme
indicator light is flashing.
Once the checks have been carried out, press the On/Off push button and close the door, the programme will continue from the
point in which it was interrupted. If the fault code reappears contact the consumer services department.
For other combinations of fault codes not described in the above chart will appear, please contact your consumer services
department.

Possible cause
The water tap is blocked or furred with
limescale.
The water tap is turned off.
The filter (where present) in the threaded hose
fitting at the water inlet valve is blocked.
The water inlet hose has not been correctly laid
or it is bent or squashed.
Protection against flooding is active.
The siphon is blocked.
The water drain hose has not been correctly laid
or it is bent or squashed.
The filters are blocked.
Possible cause
The dishwasher door has not been properly
closed.
The main plug is not plugged in.
The fuse has blown in the household fuse box.
The whistling is not a cause for concern.

Solutions
Clean the water tap.
Turn the water tap on.
Clean the filter in the threaded hose
fitting.
Check the water inlet hose connection.
Close the water tap and contact the
consumer services department.
Clean out the siphon.
Check the water drain hose connection.
Check the the filters.
Solutions
Close the door.
Insert the mains plug.
Replace the fuse.
Use a different brand of detergent.
