• Do not operate appliance with a damaged cord or
if appliance has been dropped or damaged.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble
or attempt to repair the appliance. Take it to the
nearest authorized TEFAL approved service center
for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly or
repair can cause a risk of fire, electrical shock or
injuries to persons when the appliance is used.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are under supervision or have
been provided instructions concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
• The appliance may be used by children aged 8 or
over and persons lacking appropriate knowledge or
experience or persons with reduced impaired
physical sensory or mental capabilities provided that
they have been thoroughly instructed regarding use
of the appliance, are supervised and understand the
risks involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision. Keep the
iron and its cord out of reach of children less than
8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
