Explore the vast resources of the internet with your
Samsung Galaxy device
Browsing the web
The Internet app is one
of the native apps that
arrives pre-loaded onto
your Samsung Galaxy. It
is your window onto the
internet, allowing you to
roam the worldwide web
wherever you are and, in
the process, access a wealth
of information that you can
view and manipulate. You
can even set up shortcuts
to any websites that you
frequently visit so that
they sit on your home
screen like any other app
shortcut, which is perfect
for enabling speedy access
to your favourite web
watering holes. With the
Internet app, there are no boundaries.
Navigate with the multibar
The heart of the Internet app is the multibar. This is the area of the
app in which you can not only search the internet, but also input
website addresses (Fig 1). If you decide to use the space as a search
engine then, when you begin to type out your search words, the
app will try to second-guess your instructions. This means that every
time you add another letter to the words you are typing, the search
engine will present a selection of results based on those letters. Tap
on the result to go to the connected website.
