    Swipe or Slide To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen. Drag To drag, touch and hold your finger with some pressure before you start to move your finger. While dragging, do not release your finger until you have reached the target position. This finger gesture is always in a vertical direction, such as when flicking the contacts or message list. Rotate For most screens, you can automatically change the screen orientation from portrait to landscape by turning the phone sideways.

    Pinch and Spread “Pinch” the screen using your thumb and forefinger to zoom out or “spread” the screen to zoom in when viewing a picture or a Web page.     Google voice typing allows you to speak your entries. ● Samsung keyboard allows you to enter text by touching keys on a virtual QWERTY keyboard. You can also tap letters to enter words. Swype provides next-letter prediction and regional error correction, which can compensate for tapping the wrong keys on the virtual QWERTY keyboards.

    Make an Emergency Call You can place calls to 9-1-1 even if the phone’s screen is locked or your account is restricted. Note: To call the 9-1-1 emergency number when the phone’s screen is locked, press the Power key to turn the screen on, drag the Call icon up, and then tap Emergency call to display the Emergency dialer keypad.

    Reject an Incoming Call When you reject a call, the caller is sent to voicemail, where they can leave a voice message. ■ When your phone notifies you of an incoming call, drag Reject to the left to reject the call. Reject an Incoming Call with a Text Message You can reject an incoming call by sending a text message to the caller.

    Caller ID Caller ID identifies a caller while the phone is ringing, by displaying the number of the incoming call. Block Caller ID You can block your Caller ID (visible to other when you make a call), before making a call. The blocking only lasts for that call, and then returns to regular Caller ID.

    Call Forwarding Call forwarding lets you forward all your incoming calls to another phone number – even when your phone is turned off.
