Springform Bakeware
Use and Care
Before Your First Use
Hand wash bakeware in warm water with mild dishwashing soap using a
sponge or nylon pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Heat Setting
Always preheat your oven before baking.
Your bakeware is oven-safe to 500°F. We do not recommend exceeding
temperatures above 500°F or using under a broiler.
General Use
Always make sure that the base is correctly inserted and locked in place
before use.
To unlock the springform, simply release the latch on the side of the pan and
lift the top from the base. To lock the springform, align the pan with the rim
on the base and push the latch into the locked position.
If your bakeware set includes a 2-in-1 springform pan, the flat and bundt base
can be used interchangeably.
Allow your baked goods to cool completely before removing from the pan.
If you are baking cheesecake it should be chilled before removing.
Utensils
Use only silicone, nylon or wooden tools. Do not cut or use sharp metal
utensils on your bakeware.
Wolfgang Puck, owner of the famous Spago restaurants and one of the most
influential chef-restauranteurs in America, is credited with reviving California's
rich culinary heritage. His cooking innovations, a result of blending fresh
California ingredients with his classical French techniques, are enjoyed by
world leaders, stars and fellow chefs alike. He established other trend-setting
restaurants like Fifty Six, The Source, Chinois on Main in Santa Monica, WP24,
Cut and his latest creation Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air.
Home chefs can also share Mr. Puck's talents through his cookbooks, cutlery,
cookware, appliances, and, of course, through his bakeware!
Helpful Hints
Although the nonstick surface on your bakeware is designed for easy release,
following recipe instructions always produces the best result. Grease and
flour as directed.
Coating discoloration may occur after continued use, especially when
baking greasy foods at high temperatures. This will not affect the bakeware's
performance.
Extreme change in temperature can cause warping. Always allow your
bakeware to cool to room temperature before cleaning or running under
cold water.
Pay careful attention to oven temperature and baking time the first few times
you use your bakeware. Adjust time and temperature if necessary.
Cleaning
Your Wolfgang Puck Bakeware should be hand washed only. Do not clean in
the dishwasher.
To clean simply use warm water, a mild dishwashing soap and a soft sponge
or nylon pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Warnings
DO NOT heat an empty piece of bakeware in your oven. This can cause
hazardous fumes which may be harmful to birds.
Your bakeware is oven-safe to 500°F. DO NOT exceed baking temperatures
above 500°F.
NEVER leave bakeware in a hot oven unattended.
Bakeware is NOT intended for stovetop or microwave use.
We recommend the use of a pot holder or oven mitt at all times.
