8. Connect the Tower and Pump

NOTE: The tower inlet subassembly comes assembled and is included with the footbath.
Use a level and measuring tape to confirm a minimum 1/4" (6 mm) per foot (30.5 cm) pitch toward
the suction assembly. If the subfloor is not level, shim as needed.
Detach the tower inlet subassembly located near the heater.
Attach the tower inlet to the tower using the mounting frame union nut. Make sure the O-ring is in
place.
Attach the other end of the tower inlet subassembly to the pump outlet. Make sure the O-ring is in
place. Make sure to maintain a minimum 1/4" (6 mm) per foot (30.5 cm) pitch between the tower
and the pump to promote system drainage and prevent pump cavitation due to an air lock.
