cooking fume extractors
can affect the safe
operation of appliances
which burn gas or other
fuels (including those in
other rooms) due to the
backflow of combustion
gases. These gases can
cause carbon monoxide
poisoning. After installing
a kitchen extractor hood
or any other cooking
fume extractor, make sure
that the gas appliances
are tested by a certified
technician to guarantee
that there is no backflow of
combustion gases.
