Maintenance Mode (Measurement Mode)
The Maintenance Mode is a program used to optimize key sensor and damper pedal sensor
performance by measuring their sensing positions.
The Maintenance Mode should be used in the following conditions.
⋅ When the Test Mode reveals wide discrepancies in sensing positions or improper sensing
positions.
⋅ When replacing key sensor or the damper pedal sensor.
Etc.
Measured values produced by the Maintenance Mode are saved in flash memory in key sensors.
Key Sensor Measurement
There are two methods used for key sensor measurement; the Full Keyboard measurement, which
rewrites all key measurement values, and the Single Key measurement, which the value is rewritten
to the appointed key.

Full Keyboard Measurement
Switch the Power ON while
holding the 10F#, 12G#, and
14A# keys. (Release the keys
after 2 sec.)
Wait 30 sec.
→ The chord plays once every 2
sec.
Press the damper pedal once.
→ The chord plays twice.
Check the standard position of
entire keyboard.
Press the damper pedal once.
→ The chord plays 3 times in
succession.
Play keys 1-88.
Press the damper pedal once.
→ The chord plays once every 2
sec.
Press the soft pedal once.
→ Plays 76C consecutively.
Power OFF

Single Key Measurement
Switch the power ON while
holding the 9F and 11G keys.
(Release the keys after 2 sec.)
→ The chord plays twice in
succession.
Press the key to be measured.
→ The key being measured
plays twice.
Check the standard position of
the measured key.
Press the damper pedal once.
→ The measured key plays 3
times in succession.
Play the key being measured.
Press the damper pedal once.
→ The chord plays twice in
succession.
* Repeat steps 1-5 to measure
other keys.
Press the soft pedal once
→ Plays 76C consecutively.
Power OFF
