4. Turn the lift strut to extend the stay or make it
shorter. Extend the stay to lift the rear edge of the
cover. Make the stay shorter to lower the rear edge
of the cover.
5. Tighten the nuts on the lift strut when the adjustment
is done.
6. Do a check of the parallelism. Refer to
check of the parallelism of the cutting deck on page
22 .
7. Attach the belt shield and tighten the screws.
8. Attach the right footrest plate and the front cover.
To remove the BioClip plug
Remove the BioClip plug to change a Combi cutting
deck from BioClip to rear discharge of the grass.
To remove and install the BioClip plug on the
cutting deck
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position. Refer to
put the cutting deck in servicing position on page 21 .
2. Remove the 3 screws that hold the BioClip plug and
remove the plug.
3. Attach 1 M8x15 mm screws in the top screw hole for
the BioClip plug to prevent damage to the threads.
4. Put the cutting deck in the mow position.
5. Install the BioClip plug in the opposite sequence.
To examine the blades
CAUTION:
balanced blades can cause damage to the
product. Replace damaged blades. Let an

and balance blunt blades.
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position.
2. Look at the blades to see if they are damaged and if
it is necessary to sharpen them.
3. Tighten the blade bolts with tightening torque 45–50
Nm.
To replace the blades
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position.
2. Lock the blade with a wooden block (A).

3. Loosen and remove the blade bolt (B), the washers
(C) and the blade (D).
4. Assemble the new blade with the ends that have an
angle in the direction of the cutting deck.
WARNING:
can cause objects to eject from the
cutting deck and cause serious injury.
Use only the blades given in
data on page 29 .
5. Attach the blade, the washer and the bolt. Tighten
the bolt with a torque of 45–50 Nm.
To do a check of the engine oil level
1. Park the product on level ground and stop the
engine.
2. Open the engine cover.
