Borglocks BL2005ECP Series Handing Instructions

If the unit is to be fitted to a right hand hung door (hinged on the right) the unit is ready to be fitted. If the handing needs to be
changed to suit a left hand hung door (hinged on the left) the following instructions will need to be followed.

Changing Keypad Handing

1. Turn the keypad over and remove the 2 screws either side of the spindle follower as per Fig.1.
2. Lift the cover plate off to expose the handing pin underneath as per Fig.2.
3. Remove the handing pin located in 'R' hole and rotate the handing disc clockwise so that the 'L' is on the bottom as per Fig.3.
4. Place the handing pin in the 'L' hole and refit the cover plate with the 2 screws. When refitting the cover plate, ensure that it is
facing as per Fig.4 and screws down flush.
5. Test the keypad to ensure that the knob is free rotating clockwise and solid when turning anti-clockwise.

Changing Rim Deadbolt Handing

1. Turn the rim deadbolt over and remove the 4 screws as per Fig.5.
2. Lift the cover plate off to expose the deadbolt underneath.
3. Horizontally flip the deadbolt over to as per Fig.6.
4. With the deadbolt in position, refit the cover plate with the 4 screws.
5. Test the deadbolt to ensure that the knob throws and withdraws the deadbolt.
