1.3 Start-up procedure
1. Connect the power cable to the BC 141 SD;
2. Connect the other end of the power cable to a wall outlet and switch the BC 141 SD on;
3. The machine automatically starts in 'SORT mode';
4. Place the banknotes flush stacked on two sides in the middle of the feeder and adjust the two
banknote limiters close to the stack of notes for the best counting results. If the banknotes are not
stacked flush or centred, counting errors might occur.
Attention: when the temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, please wait, after turning on the machine,
a few minutes before starting to count. The machine shall be used at places with good ventilation and
kept away from strong sunshine and/or magnetic field(s)
Please note: to avoid miscounting and damage to the unit the following banknotes should be
separated out before counting:
pasted banknotes
washed banknotes
very dirty banknotes
damaged banknotes
