page is mass indicating (1 oz = 28.35g)
Additioanl charge = ( Total piping length - chargeless length ) x additional charge rate
Example : For a R22 system using 3/8 liquid line and a 3/4 suction line with total measured
length of feet and with chargeless length 15 feet,
- Liquid line (50-15 feet) x 0.62 oz/ft
- Suction line (50-15 feet) x 0.06 oz/ft
- Total additional charge for interconnecting pipe = 23.8 oz
