The degree of protection according to IEC 60529:2013 is indicated on the nameplate of the refrigerated display cabinets.
The class of the refrigerated display cabinets according to the type of protection against electric shock (IEC 61140-2012)
is indicated on its nameplate.
When working with the refrigerated display cabinets, observe the following safety measures:
before connecting to the mains, check the integrity of the plug and connecting power cable of the refrigerated
display cabinets. In case of any damage detected, DO NOT connect the refrigerated display cabinets to the mains
because of the danger of electric shock. Replace the damaged cord and plug with new ones of the same type;
in case of tingling sensation when touching the shell of the refrigerated display cabinets, disconnect it from the
mains and call upon specialists for repair work;
never touch the refrigerated display cabinets with damp hands;
do not remove or insert the plug of the power cable of the refrigerated display cabinets into the mains socket with
damp hands;
DO NOT operate the refrigerated display cabinets with removed or failed automation devices, nor with damaged
insulation of electrical wires or broken ground wire;
it is not allowed to operate the refrigerated display cabinets with open electric boards of the unit compartment;
it is not allowed to operate the refrigerated display cabinets with a sharp-edged damaged glass.
DO NOT operate the refrigerated display cabinets in high-risk rooms and in extremely high-risk rooms character-
ized by the presence of one of the following factors:
high humidity (rooms with relative humidity over 80%), in particular, in rooms where relative humidity is
near to 100% (the ceiling, walls, floor and objects located in the room are covered with moisture) or
conductive dust is present;
chemically active environment (rooms, in which vapors stay for a long time or deposits are formed that have
a destructive effect on isolation and conductive parts of electrical equipment);
conductive floors (metal, reinforced concrete, earth, etc.). If the refrigerated display cabinets is installed on
the conductive floor, perform operation and maintenance from insulating platforms (rubber mats), which
should be arranged in such a way that the details of the refrigerated display cabinets are only touched from
the platform.
ATTENTION! DISCONNECT THE REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINETS FROM THE MAINS:
when cleaning inside and outside;
when moving to another place;
for the time of troubleshooting.
ATTENTION! Do not use electrical appliances inside the refrigerated display cabinets.
ATTENTION! Do not store explosive substances and objects, e.g. aerosol spray cans, inside the refrigerated
