Power Button

Press the power button momentarily to turn on the
button for 2 seconds to turn it off.
While the WatchMate is turned on, pressing the power button momentarily allows you to

change the display brightness.

One Minute Startup Time

The WatchMate will not begin to transmit for one minute after it has been switched on.

This startup time is required to determine background noise levels on the AIS frequencies.

Initial Profile Setting

When you press the power button to turn on the
select the current profile. This allows you to switch profiles before any alarms are triggered.
No alarms will be triggered while the profile selection window is displayed. You must
select a profile and press the OK button.

Buttons

The WatchMate is designed to be simple and intuitive to operate. In addition to the power

button's function. If no box appears next to a button then the button performs no function at
that time.
