Basic Functions

Turning the Power On / Off
• The Set Date/Time menu will appear the first time the camera is
turned on. Please set the date and time (p. 22).
• If the auto power down function activates, press the main
switch again to restore power.
Auto Power Down Function
The camera is equipped with an auto power down function (p. 81).
It will power down when the auto power down function is set to On
under the following circumstances.
• Shooting: shuts down approximately 3 minutes after the last action.
• Replaying: shuts down approximately 5 minutes after the last action
(excluding auto replay mode).
• Connected to Card Photo Printer CP-10 (optional): shuts down
approximately 5 minutes after the last action involving the camera or
printer.
• Connected to a computer: (auto power down always active)
a warning message displays on the computer approximately 5 minutes
after the last action and the camera shuts down after an additional 1
minute without action.
Press and hold the main switch until the
