Replacing the Headrest/Back Upholstery - Recliner Frame Style
Headrest Upholstery
1.
Remove the headrest pillow. Refer to Replacing the Headrest
Pillow on page 46.
2.
Remove the six mounting screws that secure the headrest
upholstery to the headrest extension tubes.
3.
Secure new headrest upholstery onto headrest extension tubes
with the existing six mounting screws.
4.
Install headrest pillow. Refer to Replacing the Headrest Pillow on
page 46.
Back Upholstery
1.
Disengage one side of the spreader bar. Refer to
Removing/Installing the Spreader Bar on page 47.
To remove and install the bottom two mounting
screws of the back upholstery the wheelchair
MUST be partially folded. Refer to
Folding/Unfolding the Wheelchair on page 31.
2.
Remove the twelve mounting screws that secure the back
upholstery to the back canes.
3.
Ensure positioning of seat positioning strap (if used). Refer to
Installing the Seat Positioning Strap on page 86.
4.
Secure new back upholstery to back canes with the existing twelve
mounting screws. Securely tighten.
5.
Reengage spreader bar. Refer to Removing/Installing the Spreader
Bar on page 47.
