Mount BG02

Place near enough to the equipment being monitored
to ensure voltage and CT lead lengths will fit
Place within 30 feet of Packet Power Ethernet Gateway
or other Packet Power monitoring device
Use attached mounting tabs for wall mount or
the included chase nipple to install directly onto
equipment
Mounting tabs have #0.18 hole

Run CT leads from the BG02 to device being monitored

Connect CTs to the conductors

Consult the CT Specification Sheet for correct CT orientation

Connect CT tails to the CT leads coming from the BG02

CTs from full-power meters will be labeled L1, L2, L3; ensure they are placed on the proper phase
CTs from current-only meters will be labeled CT1, CT2, CT3, ... and are not phase-specific

Run the voltage leads to the voltage source and connect by line and ground
If there are multiple voltage sources, the voltage leads will be labeled accordingly
Ensure adequate over-current protection is provided
Once power is supplied, the BG02 will automatically begin to transmit data.
