BG02 Multi-circuit Power Monitor
Quick Start Guide
This is a summary of how to install a Packet Power BG02 multi-circuit monitoring device.

IMPORTANT

1. Installation should be conducted by a qualified professional according to local electrical codes.
2. Protective equipment should be used when handling a current transducer (CT) on a live conductor.
3. Do not make adjustments to the BG02's internal wiring.
4 If you believe the BG02, CTs, or leads have been damaged, do not attempt to repair or use them.

COMPONENTS

Ground wire
Voltage lead(s)

TOOLS NEEDED

12" adjustable wrench
12" adjustable claw pump pliers
#2 Phillips screwdriver (minimum 4" shaft)
#5 drill bit
#5 screws

INSTALLATION STEPS

The BG02 does not need to be configured prior to use.

Mount BG02 to wall or device using attached mounting tabs

Run CT leads from the BG02 to device being monitored

Connect CTs to the conductors
4 Connect CT tails to the CT leads coming from the BG02
5
Run the voltage leads to the voltage source and connect by line and ground
Once power is supplied, the BG02 will automatically begin to transmit data.
