recorded. A new CF card will be assigned file
number 1 and previously recorded CF cards

About File Numbers

Images are recorded in folders on the CF
card. A single folder will accommodate up
to 50 images. The first folder accommo-
dates file numbers 1 to 50, the second
numbers 51 to 100, the third numbers 101
to 150, and so on until the CF card is filled.
However, removing a battery will cause the
folder last accessed to close. When the
battery is replaced, new images are
assigned a file number starting from the
first number of the next available block of
50. For example, if the last image was
assigned file number 12, the first image
after battery replacement will be assigned
file number 51 and be placed in the next
folder.
