Tip for Using the Self-timer (p. 53)
Normally, the camera shakes a little when you press
the shutter button.
Setting the self-timer to
delays the shutter release
for two seconds and allows the camera to stop
shaking, thus preventing a blurred image.
Even better results can be obtained by placing the
camera on a stable surface or by using a tripod to
shoot.
Histogram Function (p. 27)
The histogram is a graph that allows you to judge the
brightness of the shot image. The greater the bias
toward the left in the graph, the darker the image.
The greater the bias toward the right, the brighter the
image. If the image is too dark, adjust the exposure
compensation to a positive value. Similarly, adjust
the exposure compensation to a negative value if the

9900, and folders are assigned folder numbers from
100 to 998 (Folder numbers cannot contain 99 in the
