ASSEMBLY WARNING Make certain that the machine is not connected to the power source. BASE 1. With the carriage bolts and nuts,begin assembling one end of the stand by attaching 1 short top shelf and 1 short tie bar to 2 legs. NOTE: Do not tighten hex nuts until all fasteners are at- tached.Then place the stand on a flat surface to square it up and tighten all the nuts. - Page 12 HANDLE Align the stop rod with hole. Then tighten the lock han- dle. Loosen the set screw then mount the handle and tighten the set screw securely. Lock Handle Align the stop with rod. Then tichten the lock knob. ADJUSTMENTS WARNING MOVING BORING HEAD Make certain that the machine is not connected to the power source. Using large wood block for support (over 2,5”). Loosen 2 screws (A) and use knob (B) to raise boring head to MOVING FENCE desired position Loosen two ratchet handles. - Page 14 RETURN SPRING SAFETY GUARD This spring is used to return the boring handle to its original position. The safety guard prevents the operator’s hands from touching the boring bits when changing workpiece.
