Load a recordable cassette tape into the cassette holder.
< You can use only normal(Type!) tapes.
If the safety tabs of the cassette tape have
been broken off, cover the holes with adhe-
sive tape.

Select the source to be recorded by pressing the TUNER or the
CD button.

Press the RECORD button(K).

The RECORD button is locked to the PLAY button: When the
RECORD button is pressed down, the PLAY button also is.

The recording starts.
< It is possible to record during Shuffle playback or program
playback.

To stop recording
Press the STOP/EJECT button(H/L).

BEAT CUT switch
If you hear an unusual sound while recording MW radio broad-
casts, eliminate or suppress it by changing the position of the
BEAT CUT switch on the rear panel.
