"Points of interest on the map": set which
Point of Interest categories are displayed
on the map.
Route
Principle
Route criteria can be selected to suit personal
preferences. These are then saved as default
and are automatically used for new route guid‐
ance procedures.
Setting the route criteria
1.
Press the button on the Controller.
2.
Tilt the Controller to the right.
3.
"Settings"

"Route criteria"
5.
Select the desired setting:
"Route guidance"
"Fast": time-optimised route combin‐
ing the shortest possible route and
fast roads.
"Short": distance-optimised route
combining the shortest possible route
and fast roads.
"Efficient": consumption-optimised
route resulting from a combination of a
route requiring the lowest possible
consumption and fast roads.
"Dynamic route guidance": with Dynamic
Route Guidance, Real Time Traffic Infor‐
mation RTTI is taken into account in the
calculation of the route.
"Motorways": motorways are used or
avoided as far as possible.
"Toll roads": toll roads are used or avoided
as far as possible.

"Ferries/trains": ferries and car trains are
used or avoided as far as possible.
"Avoid vignette": routes requiring a tax vi‐
gnette are avoided as far as possible. The
setting can be restricted by selecting the
countries.
"Area to avoid:": activate or deactivate
avoid areas.
Route guidance
Principle
Individual settings can be made for route guid‐
ance. These are then saved as default and are
automatically used for new route guidance pro‐
cedures.
Setting route guidance

Press the button on the Controller.
2.
Tilt the Controller to the right.
3.
"Settings"

"Route guidance settings"
5.
Select the desired setting:
"Automatic length": automatic route guid‐
ance features.
"Length of spoken instructions"
"3D junction view": selected sections of
route, for example motorway intersec‐
tions, are shown in perspective.
"Additional information": display additional
information, such as tunnels.
