16.3. Linux

USB Communications Device Class (CDC) devices are supported in kernel 2.4 and above through
the cdc_acm module. No special configuration or drivers are needed.
The controller will appear as a ttyACMx device. The kernel log (available through dmesg) details
the device detection and the assigned device, in this case /dev/ttyACM0
