HIGH SENSITIVITY

To increase sensitivity in digital cameras, the image sensor output can be increased.
Of course, amplifying image sensor output will also result in an increase of image
"noise", or specs in the image that are not part of the original shot you wanted
to capture.
Just as in fi lm cameras, greater sensitivity also means higher noise and some loss
of image quality as a result.
