ComNav Commander P2 Autopilot Operation — Quick Reference Guide
POWER ON/OFF
To Power ON, press
To Power OFF, press
Any of these four primary modes may be entered at any time.
STANDBY
— vessel is steered manually

Press for 2 seconds to switch to STANDBY mode.
POWER STEER
— operator steers vessel with knob
P
( is shown in upper left of display)
Press for 2 seconds to switch to POWER STEER mode.

Use or or
AUTO
— autopilot steers to heading set by operator

Press for 2 seconds to switch to AUTO mode.
AUTO
Use to change course.
Press for 3 seconds for WORK mode [non-sailboats]
Fn
or for AUTO WIND mode [sailboats only].
Use or to dodge obstacles.
NAV
— autopilot steers to active GPS waypoint

Press for 2 seconds to switch to NAV mode.
NAV
Press again to toggle to alternative NAV display.
NAV
(press it again to switch back to regular NAV display).
Press for 3 seconds for WORK mode [non-sailboats]
Fn
or for NAV WIND mode [sailboats only].
Use or to dodge obstacles.
