Preface

The network camera WV-SFN311L is designed to operate using a PC on a network (10BASE-
T/100BASE-TX).
By connecting to a network (LAN) or the Internet, images and audio from the camera can be moni-
tored on a PC via a network.
Note:
• It is necessary to configure the network settings of the PC and its network environment to moni-
tor images from the camera on the PC. It is also necessary to install a web browser on the PC.

Main functions

Equipped with a new codec engine
The redesigned codec engine can output up to 60 frames per second in HD quality.
Equipped with an enhanced Super Dynamic function and widened dynamic range to 133 dB
By combining images taken at different shutter speeds and using pixel level brightness correction,
more natural looking pictures can be taken even when objects have large differences in illumination.

Equipped with a high-sensitivity MOS sensor and noise reduction function (MNR)
The high-sensitivity sensor and new method of noise reduction (MNR: Multi-process Noise

lution for edge areas where noise is prominent, MNR is able to produce clear images while limit-
ing noise across the entire image.
IR LED equipped
The equipped infrared LED makes it possible to take pictures at zero lx of objects as far as 30 m
{98.43 feet} away.
Equipped with 1 SD memory card
• By using SD memory card, images can be recorded over long periods of time.

Easy installation with the attachment plate, motorized zooming, and basic adjustment functions
Installation can be performed easily by rotating the camera with the attachment plate that can
adjust the camera's position in 90° increments. The motorized zoom and automatic basic focus
adjustment make it possible to reduce the time required for making adjustments.
