SOUND FIELD (DSP)/EQ FUNCTION
DSP(Digital Signal Processor) : DSP modes have been designed to simulate different acoustic environments.
EQ : You can select ROCK, POP, or CLASSIC to optimize the sound for the genre of music you are playing

: Provides a sense of presence as if in a studio.

: Simulates the sound of a dance club with a
throbbing bass beat.
: Provides a clear vocal as if listening in a concert hall.

: Provides the feeling of a movie cinema.

: Gives the feel of being in a grand church.
: Select this for normal listening.

The DSP/EQ function is only available in STEREO mode.

This feature works with CDs, MP3-CDs, DivX, tuner and Dolby Digital discs.

When playing a DVD disc encoded with two or more channels, the multi-channel mode will
be selected automatically and DSP/EQ does not work.
DOLBY PrO LOGIC II MODE
You can select the desired Dolby Pro Logic II audio mode.
Press the
PL II MODE button.
Each time the button is pressed, the mode changes as follows.

: When listening to music, you can experience
sound effects as if you are listening to the actual performance.

: You will hear 5.1 channel surround sound.

: Select this to listen to sound from the front left and right speakers and the subwoofer only.

When selecting Pro Logic II mode, connect your external device to the AUDIO INPUT jacks
(L and R) on the player. If you connect to only one of the inputs (L or R), you cannot listen
to surround sound.

PRO LOGIC II function is only available in STEREO mode.
: Depending on the genre of music, you can select POP, JAZZ, and ROCK.
PL II mode button to show STEREO on the display.
: You will experience a realistic multi-channel effect, as if using five speakers, while using
just the front left and right speakers.
