7. Install the optical drive and reconnect the cables.
8. Reinstall all the removed parts.
9. Reconnect the power cord and all disconnected cables to the computer.
Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.

Heat sink assembly

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Appendix A "Important safety information" on page 49 and print the following
instructions.
The heat sink might be very hot. Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several
minutes until the computer is cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Turn off the computer and remove all connected devices and cables.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 25.
3. Remove the front bezel. See "Front bezel" on page 26.
4. Remove the storage drive bracket. See "Storage drive bracket" on page 30.
5. Remove the screws. Then, remove the heat sink.
