It is important that you never force, induce or coax your pet onto the ssScat Mat or to cross it. Always allow your pet to roam and discover the ssScat Mat by themselves. Since all pets are different, it may take several encounters before your pet understands and learns to avoid the ssScat Mat.

Do not allow the electronics controller to become wet. Safety • Keep caution and safety in mind when deciding where to place the ssScat Mat. • Avoid creating a slip or trip hazard; make sure the ssScat Mat is flat.
