- Page 4 ® Installation Guide Flattening the sScat Mat When you un-box your Sureguard sScat Mat, we recommend flattening the mat. Unroll the mat, then re-roll in the opposite direction. Unroll again and lay flat with the controller facing upward. If the mat seems stiff, place in sunlight to warm and soften the plastic.
- Page 5 Mat. Dummy sScat Mats Once your pet learns to avoid the Sureguard sScat Mat you can install Sureguard “dummy” mats for additional coverage at low cost. Dummy sScat Mats are a visual reminder; they exclude the electronics controller. They simply look like the real mat, are less expensive, and your pet shouldn’t notice the difference.
