When the encoder powers up, the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) displays the software version:

Use the front panel's four arrow and ENTER buttons to navigate the LCD's two
40-character lines.
Use the up ( /\ ) and down ( \/ ) arrow buttons to scroll through the following nine menus:
