1.1 GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1.1. SCOPE

This manual contains instructions for use in operating and main-
taining the ATN PS-27 Night Vision Front Sights. Throughout this
manual, the ATN PS-27 will be referred to as the sights or the
PS-27.

1.1.2. REPORTS

Reports from the user on recommendations for improvements are
encouraged. Send reports to the address below.

1.1.3. STORAGE

Storage of the PS-27 should be done in the factory packing and
after a thorough PMCS as outlined in Chapter 3 of this manual.
This will ensure the sight remains in mission ready condition dur-
ing storage. Battery should be stored separately from the sight.
The PS-27 should not be placed on the floor, in any area exposed
to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Presence of acid and al-
kaline vapor, as well as of other aggressive admixtures in the air
is unacceptable.
