To update the speed camera database for the Aguri DX4000 dash cam, follow these steps:
1. Download the Update - Visit the Aguri website (www.aguriworld.co.uk). - Navigate to the ‘Software updates’ section or search for ‘DX4000 updates’. - Download the zipped folder named “DX4000_Vx.x.x.x_STORAGE.zip” (approx. 2.5GB).
2. Extract the File - Unzip the downloaded folder using Zip software. - Inside, you will find a file named “DX4000_Vx.x.x.x_STORAGE.bin”.
3. Prepare the SD Card - If needed, format the SD card to ensure enough space.
4. Copy the File to the SD Card - Drag or copy the “DX4000_Vx.x.x.x_STORAGE.bin” file directly onto the root of the SD card (not inside any folders).
5. Update the Device - Remove the SD card from your computer and insert it into the DX4000. - Power on the DX4000 and wait for the update to install automatically. - A message will display showing the progress.
6. Completion - Once the update is installed, the screen will return to standby mode. - The DX4000 is now updated and ready for use.
