If the LED lights do not switch on, check:

Whether all cables are properly connected with one another.
•
Whether all LED strips are properly aligned (all arrows are pointing in one direction).
•
Whether the USB connector is properly connected to a USB port or power adapter.
•
Whether the power outlet is defective. Try another outlet.
•
The fuse or safety switch for your mains power.
•
Whether the battery in the remote control is dead.
