WARNING: After selecting the Unlock operation in Print Console or rotating the
power/emergency stop switch to the off position, wait a few moments before
starting to work inside the platesetter. It can take up to two seconds for the safety
interlock system to completely shut down laser sources and up to 15 seconds for
the system to shut down mechanical movement. Exposure to visible and invisible
high-powered laser radiation can burn skin and can cause permanent degradation
or loss of eyesight. Moving mechanical parts can create a hazardous situation,
which, if not avoided, can result in death or serious injury.
Unloaded cassette (MCU option only)
When you pull the MCU cart out of the MCU for loading or
maintenance, do not crawl underneath the cassette. The cassette could
become dislodged and fall on top of you. There are labels on the top of
each rail to remind you of this potential hazard.
