Description of the item on screen follows:
Compliance With O/S
Set this option to Yes, if the operating system supports ACPI. The
setting is No, the operating system supports APM.
ACPI Sleep Type
The settings are S1/POS or S3/STR.The default setting is S1/POS.
S1/POS(Power On Suspend)
The S1/POS state is low power saving state. In this state, the system
context will maintain all CPU, chipset and memory power.
S3/STR(Suspend to RAM)
The S3/STR state is system off and only maintains memory power.
Power Management/APM
Set this option to Enabled to enable the chipset's power management
features and APM(Advanced Power Management). The settings are
Enabled. The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are Disabled.
Green PC Monitor Power State
This option specifies the power state that the green PC-compliant
video monitor enters when AMI
after the specified period of display inactivity has expired. The settings are
Off, Standby, Suspend. The Optional and Fail-Safe default settings are
Standby.
Video Power Down Mode
This option specifies the power conserving state that the VESA VGA
video subsystem enters after the specified period of display inactivity has
expired. The settings are Disabled, Standby or Suspend. The Optinal and
Fail-Safe default settings are Standby.
